Biography

Bill Rubert has practiced for more than 20 years and has tried cases in numerous county and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Rubert began his career as the law clerk to the Honorable Forrest G. Schaeffer, president judge of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas. He has considerable experience in handling the defense of personal injury and product liability cases. Bill has developed expertise in insurance coverage and has broadened his practice to include insurance coverage litigation and appeals. He has argued a number of cases in the appellate courts and has several reported appellate court decisions. Also, he has lectured to various industry groups about a variety of insurance coverage issues.

Bill earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law and bachelor's degree with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the state and federal district courts of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations.

Bill Rubert, his wife, and daughter, are Penn State graduates, and his son currently attends the university. Bill is active in community affairs, as a trustee and fundraiser for a local Boy Scout troop. He is also very active in his church and in the Penn State Alumni Blue Band Association. Mr. Rubert and his wife are musicians and regularly perform with large and small choral groups. In his spare time, Bill is an amateur cabinetmaker.
