Biography

William J. Conroy is a name shareholder of Campbell Campbell Edwards & Conroy, a nationally recognized firm of trial lawyers who handle complex, high stakes cases throughout the United States. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. American Honda Motor Company, Inc. recently named him its "Honda Product Liability Trial Attorney of the Year," recognizing a defense victory in a wrongful death action in which the plaintiff claimed that a defect in the design of the supplemental restraint system in a Honda Accord caused the driver's catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Conroy graduated from Lycoming College with a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in 1978. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law (Evening Division) in 1982.

Mr. Conroy is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. He is also admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey federal courts, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel; Pennsylvania Defense Institute; Product Liability Advisory Council; International Association of Defense Counsel; Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel; and Defense Research Institute. In 2007 he served on the faculty of the IADC's 35^th Annual Trial Academy at Stanford Law School.

Mr. Conroy currently focuses his practice on the litigation of catastrophic injury cases. He has represented Ford Motor Company for more than 20 years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has served as national trial counsel to the Ford Motor Company in light truck rollover litigation since 1994, trying cases throughout the United States. He also represents Honda North America, Inc., Hyundai Motor America, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., and Crown Equipment Corporation, as well as the PECO unit of Exelon Corporation, Georgia-Pacific Corporation, NP Medical, Inc., AIG Technical Services, Inc., and ACE-INA.
